Hi, my name is Sandro, and I’m a photography enthusiast.
Photography for me is passion… it’s pleasure… my personal escape…
When I don’t have camera in my hands, which is rare, I’m an economist – now for those of you wondering how I ended up there, let me just say, it’s very complicated. Life brings me to places I would have never imagined; And in the past I’ve acquired skills in variety of fields that I might never find use for… nevertheless, I’m happy for my experience as a business man and an artist. I also believe that at some point in time, I will be able to trace a line through all the dots, isles of experience, and combine everything into one perfect occupation…
I come from a troubled region of Caucasus in eastern Europe. My roots are in the Republic of Georgia, sweet little country with not so great neighbors (you might have noticed a brief war between Georgia and Russia last summer). I’ve had a loaded childhood, with baggage of unpleasant memories… I remember having to study on the candle light, as electricity was sold to foreigners by corrupt politicians; I remember sleeping in one bed with my parents and a sister, not freeze to death as gas and heating was non existent. All these memories, from the current perspective, seem so far away, so distant. But without a doubt these experiences shaped me as a person.
This brief view into my past is a starting point, as for the rest, I hope you can learn me through my photos…
