Saint-Veran is the highest commune in Europe (2040m), located in France near the famous Briancon skiing resort. It’s surround by vast mountains which are covered with ice even in summer time… “This is Saint-Veran, my home village” says the old man onthe photo – Apparently very proud of the mighty rocks behind him…
