Chateau de Villesavin
I couldn’t find any info about this castle. I did a research but everything is in French… so if you know something, please share… I’ll try to tell whatever I remember from the guided tour, but I wouldn’t bet on accuracy. This place is somewhat closed for tourists – while visiting I only saw two tourist cars, and it’s off the map of all major tourist agencies.
The huge hall on the second floor is paved with this incredible stones, each and every painting is unique – imagine time and effort artist put into details
I was told that there is no single duplicate, each posture, each soldier is original.
There was something special about this watch but I don’t remember anymore… Gift from Venice? Biggest watch made in that region or something like that.
Halls are full of portraits, around 100 in total… all important figures in French history are depicted here.
Furniture with demons, pretty intriguing actually, my grandparents had something like this at home, it always intimidated me as a kid.
Apparently this is the place where French royalty played tennis, you can see paintings of a rocket and ball…

That’s right. This is not Villesavin but Beauregard. I visited both last week.
