		<description>This camera does look pretty attractive.  I&#039;ve got a friend who&#039;s saving for one.  If I did more wildlife photography, I&#039;d probably want one myself for the FPS and dreaded crop factor.

I&#039;d disagree with the Canon rep, though;  for analogue film users, the 40D isn&#039;t all that compelling.  A person who&#039;s used to a 35 mm frame isn&#039;t likely to be satisfied with the way their lenses ( and if they&#039;ve been using Canon SLRs for years with film, they have a collection of lenses ) seem to grow by 60 %.  Canon really needs to put a consumer level full frame body out for people who can&#039;t afford a 5D or 1Ds.</description>
